Must be just a dust bunny, cleverly hiding as one...

On the other hand, I saw a Salvation Army Santa asking for donations in the financial district last week. What happened to Thanksgiving? Is it no longer a holiday and we go straight to Christmas? I'm not playing by these rules, my Russian soul is used to turkey before the fruit cake...

I think I saw a snowflake too. I always loved running around trying to catch them on my tongue. It reminds me of those 7-11 slurpies that I love so much. One time on 7th Street I was running up and down and all over catching the snowflakes in my mouth. Then some very mean unruly child threw a snow ball and hit me right in the mouth, knocking me to the ground and nearly sending me unconscious.

There were actual (very) minor snow flurries in evidence in Crown Heights, um- Eastern and Franklin. Y'all slope-heads need to head east, I guess...

    malibu, your house burns down.

anguilla, hurricanes will still come next year.

i would like to find a place with the right temp all year round, no earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, scorpions and tarantulas, etc. i have heard there is a city in the philippines like this but i don't remember the name (too bad i never went to get my dual citizen-ship, as i was born at clark air base).

    pacific coast of mexico?

My remedy for the long winter takes a few steps, but works like a charm:

    1) drape your windows, so you can't see what's going on outside
    2) turn the heater on high, getting temperature to good 80F
    3) Play Cuban music
    4) watch Netflix while eating strawberry ice cream
    5) pray for the summer to come back soon
