New to Brooklyn

Hello to all -

I'm new to the slope, well, to Brooklyn in general and would really like to hang out, see some music, drink and make some friends. Do you all have any meet ups or weekly gatherings at all?

I'm single and in my 30's and have found myself with a good amount of space time now that I'm settled in.

Any suggestions?

It's more or less the cost day-by-day to charter a super-tanker to ship raw ingredients like the above around the globe, and is a forward-looking measure that's basically telling us that shipyards and transport companies are going bankrupt, no one wants to ship anything, and no one expects anyone to be buying anything in a few months time.

Sometimes I take my telescope out and set it up on the corner of 9 street and 8 avenue. I always get a nice crowd of people who join me and look into the heavens.

I meet a lot of new friends, standing next to urinals. I've also made a lot of enemies too.
