if you see a house in windsor terrace or kensington with a really nice christmas display that nobody in the area should miss, please post about it here.

so far the best house i saw is on prospect ave between 8th & 9th ave, right by the corner of 9th.

by the way, does anyone here remember that house on the corner of fort hamilton parkway and chester ave that use to have the really spectacular christmas display? that place did it better than a lot of the houses in dyker heights. the first friday of every december they’d close the street from traffic for the first night they’d light the house, and they’d have people on the block singing christmas songs, a guy dressed as santa, and fun stuff like that. a lot of people would come and it was really fun.
but sadly they no longer decorate because the guy died of cancer. i think one year the guy got sick while the house was half decorated and had to leave it at that. the next year the family tried to decorate a little bit, but it really wasn’t the same as it use to be. now the there’s no decorations at all. sad.
