This board SUCKS and I HATE IT

It's really annoying to be continually logged out and have to log in again. I know some boards keep you logged in indefinitely. Does anyone know how to do that with phpBB?

Can anyone tell me how to administer my own board? Anyone?

Have you set your browser to accept cookies? I use Safari, which also give me the choice to save userids and passwords, to avoid this very thing. I'm never logged out of any site I'm signed up for, it's automatic. Since I'm the only one using my computer, it works fine for me.

Yeah, I agree that it's prolly a browser problem. I only had problems when I was trying to belong to two phpBB boards w/ the same username. Once I switched this one, I was fine. Make sure you have your browser set to accept cookies (do you have this problem with other sites?) and then make sure to choose always stay logged in (or however it's worded) when you log in here.

i have the same problem... posts as "Guest" even though i had just logged in...

i use firefox and never have trouble... make sure cookies are enabled
