But really, what is everyone doing NYE

Umm...I wanna stay in Brooklyn, I'm definitely getting shitfaced, and the night must end with grilled cheese. I'll take random suggestions, thanks.

wondercheeseI will do what I do every year. I will RSVP "no" to any invites, cook or order in a good dinner, put on my jammies and chill -
MODYeah, where's the party at!! -
the chipsterNo matter what I've done-the best times have always ended up in Prospect Park, watching the fireworks. Make the kids stay up late! They love it! -
fluxLast year a friend with connections got me through the police line and right in front of the falling ball in times sq. That was the only time I went to times sq.
This year I will have some guests from england who would want to watch the ball drop. I will have to ask my friend if he can get us in front of the ball again.
However, I would much rather spend it in prospect park. I wonder if they allow you to bring a tent for the event. Would be nice to be in a warm and cozy tent

saw your Grand Army Plaza post and must say you're on to something. Now we just gotta figure out a tentative barcrawl itinerary and I'm sold. Wish we could pull off a campfire... -
rockergirl77Theres a soul dance party at The Bell House.
Ugh. Its such amateur night overall though. I'll go spend 4 hours in SoHo trying to buy some stupid dress and spend hours on my hair and makeup (for what, since I will inevitably get shitty and look like a clown by 2am anyway) and then I'll freeze my ass off walking to some party while my feet bleed in my stupid heels, just to find out that I had more fun hanging out in my bedroom last Tuesday night with my best friend and a bottle or 3 of wine.
I'm not bitter at all. -
MODRockerG, sounds like your catching on, us old bags have figured this out too. I'd much rather go over a friends house and have some wine then go clubbing etc.. -

yeah, I don't know about that, I've read enough of your posts and sounds like you can handle debauchery just fine -
underhill_mtHubs and I are throwing a dinner party like last year, followed by fireworks in the Park, topped off with homemade creme brulee and champagne.
Who am I kidding? Hubs will likely take the helm of the dinner party himself because my pregnant ass will fall asleep at 10PM. -
shacked26Well if your night must end with Grilled Cheese, the place I talked about earlier Barrette, has a rocking grilled cheese and they'll be serving till 8am. -
carnivoreAnd there's always Albaz...
