ASS Parking Tomorrow

Crap. I just called 311 and was told that ASS parking was suspended today for snow removal, but is in effect for tomorrow.

First, there was no "snow removal" today. Snow is still there.

Second, I am sick as a dog and can't get myself outside to dig my car out and try to move it.

Does anybody know at what time they usually decide/announce ASS suspension?

I may just have to deal with a ticket. (yes, I am THAT sick)

I was so happy there was no ASS today - I haven't cleaned off my car, either. Are there any neighbor kids you can throw 20 bucks to do it for you? Also, you can check www.nyc.gov and the ASS are in the scrolling menu on the right side of the page.

I don't know any of the kids here, so I think I'm stuck.

Funny because with this weather my ASS will be parked in front of my HDTV for days!!!

No parking whatsoever on our block of 16th Street, due to endless street repaving. So how are we going to load up the vehicle to get the hell out of here?

You can also call 311 if you are not sure, in the beginning when the phone is answered there is a recorde3d message, if you listen long enough, it will tell you if street cleaning is on for the day you are calling and for the next day.

and no, that does mean that those of us with no ass should park there :-)

at least it will be 45 degrees tomorrow, so I won't have to scrape the ice off

I'm good til Monday as it is - because of Christmas. But you're right, I'm hoping the snow melts off as I haven't done shit to it since it snowed.
