vet for our kitty?

Hello, I am new to the DP area and we are a little nervous that out cat at 11years old might have something going on- thyroid or something...does anyone have a good vet in the neighborhood?

    I take my cat to Animal Kind (Dr. Weiser) in Park Slope.

    If you search in this section and under the pets board, you'll find previous threads on vets.

    There are varying opinions on Animal Kind, but I have been very happy with Dr. Weiser.

    I like Dr Holloway at the Prospect Park Animal Clinic

    Also, go to theCatSite.com and check the forums. People there are very helpful and you can often determine whether or not something is vet-worthy by posting there.

    I have to send in a kudo for Dr. Jodi Weiser at Animal Kind. She is terrific with cats and dogs. She knows her medicine but above that she is compassionate at truly loves animals. Sometimes the younger vets come and go at Animal kind but Jodi has been there for years. That tells me that the powers that be like her alot and that has got to be because she gets such positive feedback from the clients (human and pet) and that to keep her there Dr Gibson has increased her salary!

    Jodi Wriser is not my daughter..lol!
