We've been hearing a lot of people complaining about the bad vibes at gourmet market L'Epicerie on Vanderbilt. Evidently, the owners aren't exactly winning customers over with their warm and fuzzy interpersonal skills. How have readers' experiences been recently?

I've always had great service there, from the mother as well as the son and the woman who works there now. They always describe the cheeses to me, and slice little pieces off for me to taste.

And I really miss A Table.

Now, I wish they would be a bit ruder to the people who insist on wedging their baby strollers through the door, and pretend they don't notice that they've blocked everyone from walking around.

I suppose the people with strollers should either hire a babysitter so they can go shopping or just stay at home. Relax buddy...
