Well, cold enough fer ya? If you're sitting around the apartment worrying about the economy and property values, you might as well do it as a group. So break out your WIPs and get busy. To RSVP for Knit PH, join us on Meetup.com. It's FREE!

Knit PH at Prospect Perk Cafe
Tuesday, January 13
From 7:00 to 9:00 PM

Happy New Year! If you call your late Christmas gifts "Inauguration Gifts" you might be able to sneak them in. Knit PH meet at Prospect Perk Cafe, from 7:00 until 9:00 every second Tuesday of the month.

Prospect Perk Cafe is conveniently located between the 7th Av "Q" stop and the G.A.P. "2/3" stop on the corner of Sterling Place and Flatbush. They have hot-pressed and cold sandwiches, fine teas, hot cocoa, coffee, pastries... and of course, knitting. So stop in on your way home and sit a while.

Knit PH at Freddy's Bar
Sunday, January 18
From 7:00 to 9:00-ish PM

Beer and balls anyone? Freddy's backroom has wide tables that are perfect for sewing sweaters and blankets. Hang with the gang and knit your ass off with a frosty beverage. Freddy's Bar has beer on tap, bottled beer, wine, wine from a box, and bunch of mixed drinks that I can't pronounce. Always available on this night: swift, wool winder, yardage counter and good conversation. Crocheters are welcomed and men are encouraged.

Knit PH meets at Freddy's backroom every 3rd Sunday each month from 7:00 up until around 9:00-ish, or when ever you've had enough to drink. Freddy's Bar is located at the corner of Dean Street and 6th Avenue, near Pacific/Atlantic Station and Bergen 2/3 stop, right down the street from the 78th Precinct. Getting there is easier than getting arrested.
