What happened

I recently started working in Greenpoint, so I'm new to all the ruckus...yesterday (Jan 6) I heard a loud bang and then saw two guys running away while a car peeled rubber off of the sidewalk after them. Later there was a bunch of bread crumbs and a broken hubcap on the sidewalk...does anyone know what happened? It couldn't be too sensational, since there's been no news of it, but still, i work close to that area...

Where was this? "In Greenpoint" is kind of vague. But yeah, doesn't sound like much more than the day to day of life in NYC (or any city, really.

I did get to watch a couple of undercovers in an unmarked car make a traffic stop and a following bust last night on Manhattan near Freeman. It was boring; more of the routine...

i usually take croutons out of my salad, to much work to eat them...

depends really. if its like a decent sized sandwich with lotsa vegetables on thick toasted bread, a little crushed croutons are kinda nice.
