My son found a birth certificate today on 8th Ave. Any claimants? If not, any idea how to track this person down? I can't find a number for them.

Is it a new one or an old one? If its a new one I'd say call the hospital, if its an old one...craigslist?

My bf lost his birth certificate (it's actually a plastic credit card style thing) in another state and once he realized it, he just contacted the dmv (or some similar state office) and found out how to get a new one. I think it was relatively painless, so don't fret too much for the owner of the bc.

It may be a pain, but they can be replaced.

I agree with Carmen's responses if you want to try to return it.

I would turn it into the hospital or a precinct .
