I have strep throat and need to get drugs.

Drop in clinic suggestions. Previous posts were either for Sunday or for Weekdays...

Thanks all...

"That Stupid Place on 13th Street?" Hee hee. They def take Blue Shield - it's what I have too. I saw a doc named Anthony I think - a sort of Peg Bundy type woman. I hope you don't get her.

Looks like that's in Sunset Park. You can't miss the clinic if you walk over there. it's on the south side of 13th pretty much in the middle of the block, on the ground floor. There's also a blood taking center on the 2nd floor.

good luck- if that fails, you can trek into DOCs in the city- theres one on 23rd and 7th ave so you can take the F right to 23rd st and walk one ave. I know its a hike but at least it's close to the train.

Scarlett, you were right, that place was a nightmare. Nothing like getting yelled at by the receptionist lady for not knowing that she was overwhelmed with patients today and cannot help me. (oh, and has no suggestions for what I should do).

DOCs was my next choice... I was just hoping for something not so far. But screw it, I'll go into the city.

Where did you go, Lutheran medical Clinic? Aren't they in the teens between 4th and 5th Avenues?

No, it was called like 5 star health or something. It was on 13th between 6th and 7th. It was bad. Now I'm waiting at DOC's in Chelsea.
