I see that some renovation work is being done on a corner space at this location ... it used to be a deli I think ... Does anybody know what kind of business is opening here?

Word has it will be a nail/hair salon of some sort. It never was a deli - last incarnation which was a long time ago - it was a luggage and hat store (not upscale stuff - just necessary stuff - rolling suitcases, duffell bags for summer camp, hats, gloves and scarves for winter etc...)

It also was last a grocery store after the luggage store closed for about two weeks

Salon? The hood needs more of those.
