I hope not, though it's not the best, it still scratches that CaliBurrito itch. There's no other place in North slope that makes a decent burrito.

That sucks! That was really one of the better places in the hood for burritos and such. Dangit.

For my Park Slope friends. I called the broker handling this place and I offer the following: It is being offered as 2 stores. 950 sq ft. each at 10 K each a month. This comes out to $130 a sq ft a year. I manage commercial spaces in Manhattan and the rule of thumb for food is above 200 a ft it becomes difficult to make money unless they do a lot deliveries. A Deli paying toward 300 a ft needs 15 bikes out front making deliveries all day long to make any money. If this place has a liquor license then that obviously helps. The lease runs out in February. I suspect the decision to try to split the place was decided a while back when the economy was in better shape. Splitting the space would preclude food in one of them or at least a working kitchen (probably only one duct going to the roof). If I was managing this place I would advise the LL to test the waters but be prepared to give the current tenant a big hug and a 1 to 5 year extension at a negotiated increase. Also they're not getting many bites on this. The presumption is your calling about that Super Saver store.
