I am "that" guy that always waits till the last minute on Valentine's Day. Any ideas on dinner out with the missus and/or other ideas that will not break the bank? Thanks!

I'm soooo not a VD person! I don't think that I need merchants to tell me when/how to show my love for somebody. Too many crappy, overpriced menus (a la NYE).

Speaking as a woman, I'd truly MUCH rather have something thoughtful (and I don't mean just a card!) like bringing in my favorite foods (wine, cheese, meat and bread would do it for me) and some pampering of some kind.

Can you cook? If not, are you willing to try? I think a home-cooked meal would speak volumes, especially if you're not usually much of a cook. It would show that you care so much that you'd go that extra mile. Women love men who cook for them

yes-cooking your wife dinner is a nice idea-but ONLY if you already know how to cook. Trust me-making the fancy Valentine's Day dinner your first shot at cooking isn't going to go over well-LOL!

So-if you can cook-go for it-if you can't-bring in a fancy meal. As for Luscious Foods-I haven't tried them yet-but a very good friend of mine gets food from there all the time and says it is yummy-so, I am gonna give it a shot.
