Favorite food, etc. near Quincy Nostrand?

Hi, I'm new to the neighborhood and am excited to try new stuff. What's good around Quincy & Nostrand? Doesn't have to be right nearby, altho delivery options would of course be appreciated, as it's cold and I'm lazy.

I got an eight ball a couple of weeks back on that corner. It hadn't been stepped on too badly. Take out only, no delivery.

Not sure if they all do any delivery since I always go there.

Brooks Valley on Tompkins has great food and their new weekend brunch has great porridge, pancakes with organic maple syrup and fish and grits. the prices are low and the place is spotless

Try Soule-- it's on Fulton between Washington and St. James. Nice to dine in, but they deliver.

What happened to the Barbeque truck at Quincy and Bedford?

The BBQ truck ( http://kingscountybbq.com/ ) is still there. It's parked in an empty lot on Quincy just east of Bedford. A welcome new addition to the neighborhood.

They also deliver, on bicycle, if you are really feeling just too lazy to walk to the other end of the block!

Zaytoon's and Castro's in Clinton Hill will deliver to you, FYI.

The new rotisserie chicken place, Rooster's, isn't that far from you on Franklin and Lafayette.

Colador Cafe on Bedford near the G Stop is really good and delivers i think.

also, Ganni's Pizza.

Last week-end I tried Rooster's at Lafayette and Franklin.
It was pretty good! Large selection of flavors for the chicken and many different sides.
Love the mashed potatoes! The portions are good. The owners were there when I was ordering. They are very friendly. Would recommend it.
