Anyone ever hear of this, or know anyone who has suffered with this ailment?

Yes! I have suffered with it for many years. Splotchy full-body rash that comes on without notice, stays a few days and then disappears. Sometimes related to stress, illness or over-exertion, but not always. Doesn't itch, is not particularly painful -- just unpleasant and unsightly. Have seen many doctors about it on three continents, but there is no known "cure". Can be mitigated by taking antihistamines, particularly Zyrtec. Used to go to England to get supplies of that, but thankfully it is now available OTC here. Whenever I feel a rash coming on, I dose myself with Zyrtec and it seems to help. Rash usually appears first in groin area, then on legs and arms. Sometimes accompanied by general achy feeling, but otherwise can almost be ignored and it will go away.

Subject: I am trying to find people in NYC who suffer with this.

I have suffered with this for about three years.
It has been an increasingly painful ailment for me.

I unfortunately have not responded to regular doses of over the counter meds. As a result I am seeing a world renowned "Expert" at NYU medical Center (who conveniently does not take any insurance and who cost a small fortune).

This has been a tough thing to deal with and I am looking for support groups or a foundation. The one online doesn't offer much help.

Thanks for sharing Will, do you know if your CU is allergy related or autoimmune?
