Photos on a CD

Has anybody had the experience of burning photos to a CD in one drive on a computer and not being able to read them in another computer? As if there was nothing on it at all? Should i attempt to resurrect the original drive? Are I a janitor with a drinking problem or is I a alcoholic who likes to unplug toilets?
apologies to the Drew Carey Show.

I forget exactly what the problem was, but I burned photos to a cd I think from iphoto (on a mac) and it only worked on other macs--only a few pics or none at all could be seen on a pc.

The solution was something along the lines of exporting the photos to a folder on my desktop (somewhere besides your photo library) and burning them from there instead of from iphoto.

yup, I took the CD to a computer fix it store and gave them $20 ...and it all got better.

If its a mac, I'd head to Tech Serv on 23rd
