Prop Stylist, Party Decorator, Interior Designer?

I am looking for someone with an impeccable eye and the ability to work on a budget to help me gussy up a venue where I'll be hosting an event in Park Slope later this year.

Does anyone you know around here meet that description? This special someone will help me come up with good lighting and decorations to transform the space into something great. Well, if you do...PM me or post recs below. thanks!

She's a friend of mine - an artist and interior designer. She's incredibly artistic, nice, and fun to work with. Also, she's pretty young, and only just starting to try freelancing, so she might be willing to work for a very reasonable rate.
