Park in the a.m.
new2hood
So, I need to get my sorry ass out of bed for some exercise in the morning. However, it seems that at 6am, it's pitch black outside.
Anyone out there who hits the park for a run that early who can tell me whether there are enough people out at that hour to make it safe?
Thanks!

ringrunnerI have run a gazillion miles as it got light in Prospect Park. Never a problem. It gets a little less nice when the cars show up at 7am.
If you are looking for a running partner join the Prospect Park Track Club

southsloperI usually walk my dog in the park between 6:20 and 7:00 and there are a fair number of runners doing the loop, less so when it is colder/inclement weather. Tuesday/Thursday there is a cyclist group doing loops.
