Loud banging last night in Clinton Hill

Did anyone hear someone banging metal and yelling two names over & over last night?

It sounded like a pipe banging on another pipe, and a man, who was looking for two people (dogs?).

But seriously, it went on for 15 minutes (or so it seemed.)

I'm curious what in the heck he was doing!

It was an asshole banging on the metal gate between the first two buildings on Downing to get someone's attention to get inside. It went on at least a half hour around 3am and I enjoyed when people opened their windows to yell at him, but not all his noise.
