What are you doing for the Super Bowl?

I'm not a huge sports fan, but i used to go to a super bowl party every year at my co-workers place back when. Kinda thinking I should go out and get back into it again and go to a bar or something.

So how about you, what are you doing?

Exactly how I feel.

We have a few friends over for eating and watching the commercials (ya know, turning the sound back on) and so the dog is showered with attention.

It's really a reason for folks to come over while it's still so cold and we need prompting b/c we're lazy

anyone know if any local bar is having a party? i know 200 5th prob does but that place is way too packed with people who actually care - not my scene. i'm more interested in a more low key place with people who enjoy watching and maybe care a little b/c the bar sold boxes before the game so you could win like $50 if a certain number combo pops up, but mostly just want a laid back place with good drink and food. anyone know if this exists?

I'm going to get drunk on mimosas and humilate you in public.

Hubby is having some friends over to watch the game and eat lasagna and chicken wings and drink beer. i will be up in my bedroom hiding out with some wine, care to join me Mama?

I've seen signs in a few windows about Superbowl parties/deals. The only one I can remember right now was at Magnolia that was, I think, $35 for a buffet and maybe some drinks.
