I found this on a board from another hood and just wanted to share it with my fellow crown heights folks.


Google Crime Map

Just FYI...that hasn't been updated in a long time. And someone "vandalized" it at some point - not-so-cleverly spelling out "USELESS" with a bunch of the crime pins.

damn I didn't even notice that, I feel rather dumb now.

can you tell if he moved existing pins? that's what it looks like to me at first glance

i think they were existing pins....it's probably time for a new map anyway - it eventually gets too crowded to be useful.

For whatever reason, Brooklyn Paper no longer considers the 77th precinct worthy of a police blotter, so we're pretty much dependent on crime reports from brooklynian posters....which - thankfully - seem to have declined considerably from last year.
