I need a fun local Valentine day Brunch idea. I need a nice -maybe a little romantic place with really good food. We hardly ever eat out of the house, so its special for us. No teasing please. I know how people get about Valentines day....

thank in advance

Totally - pay me to come over and cook for both of you!!!!!

OK, romantic brunch? Hmmmmmmm most of the brunches I go to are loud and raucous and all you can drink, so stay away from any of those I guess.

I am the leader of a meetup and we are going for brunch at Alto Voca (little sister of Sotto Voce) on 5th Ave. I haven't been there yet but after talking to the manager I get the impression that they are not yet known for brunch and it is not crowded at all. It is one of those dreaded "all you can drink" $14.95 brunch but I cannot see how you can go wrong with their food selection (how can you mess up eggs or a salad?) and beautiful surroundings

I have not had brunch but I complete love this spot. The food is great. Went for lunch with my mother, and dinner with my man, and had excellent food and service both times. It was never very crowded, and the pesto was to die for.
