Does anyone know of any parking lots in the Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, Prospect Heights area? I have some friends visiting for a few days and will need to put their car in a safe and secure location.

There's a parking garage on Waverly Avenue between Park Avenue and Myrtle Avenue.

There's also one on Underhill Avenue between Bergen Avenue and St. Marks Avenue.

    I hope that helps.

I park my car at Discount Parking. Ashland & Dekalb. I've been parking there for 4 or 5 years now with no problems.

I used discount parking for the last 2 years. Great price but I have some reservations.

I'm pretty sure they put a few dings in my car. I only use the car on the weekends and garage it during the week. The passenger side has collected around 5 dings (presumably from them opening the driver side door of the car next to mine into my car) and there is pretty much no way they could have happened on the street unless someone on the sidewalk was tapping my car w/ a ball peen hammer or something.

My car always seems to get really dirty when it has been parked there. I do have a black car though so maybe the dust is exaggerated.

Lastly, I went to pick up my car at 1am once and I heard the attendant revving the shit out of a car.

All told, Discount Parking is a great deal and is very conveniently located (near DeKalb B,Q,R,W), but I wouldn't park an S500 there. I'm kind of regretting having parked my RX8 :/

It's NYC... Dings happen, even in the garage. If you're that worried about minor cosmetic issues I suggest paying extra to park yourself or putting some kind of cover over the car... Or getting rid of it. Cars get beat up in this town, no way around it.

    I agree. NYC eats cars.
