Hi, can anyone recommend a good dermatologist in Park Slope - or, Bklyn Heights, downtown Brooklyn, surrounding neighborhoods.

Thank you!

Search as there is a recent thread about this and I vote No to Frankel.

IMO .. It is hard to find a good dermatologist because to get a residency in this field you need to be top of the class and some of the people who are.. are lazy...and do the specialty because they know they "can" have an easy ticket once they are doctors.

Someone like Dr. Frankel seems like he was really interested in teh specialty to begin with and actually has office hours more often than once a week and really is there to pay attention.

I have previously posted (search for it) about Dr. Mark Tesser, an excellent dermatologist with offices on Prospect Park West and on Park Avenue in Manhattan.

So... once again this question comes up and my conclusion is that dr frankel and Dr Tesser really are the only 2 dermatologists to see in PS. Good information to have.
