Safe Tattoo Removal

I work for a group of derms and we recently purchased the Medlite laser for tattoo removal. It's amazing. Like I watch the demo video for fun amazing... PM me if you want more info on my office!

There's nothing "amazing" about the Medlite. It only looks amazing at first because the skin turns white as it gets lasered, covering up the ink and making it look like the tattoo is no longer there. In reality, it takes MULTIPLE sessions to remove even small tattoos, and for big ones it takes even more. With that said, the Medlite appears to be the best option available right now.

Of course it's going to take multiple sessions! Have you seen tattoo removal of the past? It left scars. With the new technology you can have a fresh palate of skin and it doesn't take nearly as many sessions as it did previously. It's also a much shorter treatment period (seconds instead of minutes) than older lasers. Nothing is going to wipe out a tattoo in one go over, but this is a great option if you are willing to put in the time and money. Length and number of treatments will depend on the size, color(s), and age of the tattoo.

what happened? did you have to remove "I love PS" when all of the yuppies with kids moved in?

I am in the process of getting a very large tattoo removed and would highly, highly recommend Carol O'Brien at Smooth Laser.

Reds and blacks come up faster. Light colors are tougher. Whites are impossible.

It isn't easy, you absolutely need the numbing cream, and multiple sessions are required (I look it as every session removes 20% of what's left). You can PM me if you need more advice as I have first hand experience.

Maybe consider a cover up if you no longer want the tat. It will be less pain and $ involved.

That is why my tats are places they can be hidden. Shoulder, leg, etc..

If you're doing cover up, which I may do eventually, consider a couple laser sessions to lighten the existing ink. You'll have more art options and be much happier with the results.

From what my doctor said, yes. On top of that, he said you can buy a generic version of the same ingredients that go into "Wrecking Balm" for something like ten bucks.

My tat is the size of a quarter and must go! I have dark skin. Hopefully that makes it easier.

She does free consultations (and often has $25 coupons lying about). You might lose some pigment initially, but the skin does recover.
