Recycling/Disposing of Electronics?

I'm trying to dispose of a giant photo scanner. Does anyone know if there are specific days that I can leave it by the curb or can it go any time?

You should be able to put that out on your bulk pick-up day. Otherwise if you want to be more "green" you can wait till Prospect Park has their electronic recycling drop off days...or list it for "free" on craigslist...you never know who might need the parts!
