What a RIPOFF!

There used to be a great nail place on Bergen Street just at the subway but then DD moved in and BLAMMO! Gone. The killer is that, as opposed to $15-$20 for a "fill", DD charges $50. Yes, I wrote FIFTY DOLLARS. I almost had a heart attack when the woman told me this. Don't have the quasi-coronary that I almost had.

I blame Michelle Williams. When Joan Osborne was around the 'hood, the manicures were normal prices.

Just sayin'...

Don't blame Michelle! The DD on Montague is just as bad. I stopped in there one day to inquire about the price of a pedi - it was either $40 or $50, I can't remember now, but it was way more expensive than the place on Remsen where I usually go. I don't know how they do any business. The Montague Street store is always empty when I walk by there on my lunch hour.
