I was waking down nostrand today. I saw alot of fire trucks and police at the sterling pl corner. anybody know what happened ais everybodty ok.
I'm guessing a fire the smell of smoke was pretty strong

A few doors down from me. This used to be the neighborhood crack stand -- until the NYPD and FBI busted it. Recently an older gentleman has been camping out in there. He's know for making steel drums and aparently he uses a torch. Neighbors say it exploded but my partner and our contractor were in our building and didn't hear a thing until people started yelling fire! It's a bit ironic as it happened the same day the whole block got notices that the area is to be landmarked this summer.

I was talkin to a local cop. He told me that they found a shotgun in the building. Guess he was doing a little more than making drums
