you should try Cataldo's on Vanderbilt and Bergen. Food is great and plentiful, service is fast and friendly and you can bring your own BOOZE. We ate there, 5 adults, for $68 bucks. Portions are big enough to split...and I can eat!

While not in Prospect Heights, Bristen's Cafe is BYOB and their food is excellent.

Wow, I haven't been to Teddy's in a long time! Are they still good?

More in North Slope, there's Mee Thai: inexpensive thai food and BYOB.

fyi: cataldo's now serves wine so the era of b.y.o. is over, but the selections are reasonable (something like $20-$25 a bottle, $6 a glass) and it's still an excellent value.

Amorina is BYO with a $10 corking fee, totally worth it if you were planning to buy a bottle anyway.

Not BYO, but Tempo in the slope does a 1/2 price bottle the beginning of the week all night I think.
