I knew it was only a matter of time...

My boyfriend found a really sweet black and white cat at 10 PM on St. John's and Classon. It looks like a girl (though we're no experts) and, aside from dirty fur and extreme hunger, she seems healthy. She knows people; he couldn't leave her.

Is anyone missing a cat? If not, do you want to give this sweetie a home? I'll post a picture tomorrow night.

We already have a cat and don't have the money for a vet, so she can't stay with us forever. She's hanging out in the bathroom for now. If you have any information, post here or PM me.

Thanks!

I saw your post on craigslist first and emailed you. We lost our cat Charlie before the blizzard. Please give us a call at 718.789.1991 (any time) if you think you may have found him. Thank you very much. Elena & Bill

Sadly, the cat we found is not Charlie. However, I'm going to post pictures of her tonight (when my sister comes over with her digital camera) and hope someone knows where she belongs.

We also plan on putting up flyers in the area.

If we don't hear anything, we'll offer her up for adoption or bring her to a no-kill shelter. She's very friendly, so I'm not too worried about finding a place for her.

If you know anyone missing this little one, contact me. If you want to take her in, also contact me. She's really sweet. Still a little on the dirty side, but I'm sure a few days in a warm bathroom will help cure that.

That looks a lot like the cat from the Associated "bodega" on Underhill and St Johns.
