Three break-ins on St. Marks between 5th and 6th Ave on 3/25

Just a heads-up for those living in the vicinity. Three apts were broken into in a building on St. Marks yesterday afternoon. I believe they entered via the fire escape in the back lot, though that's not confirmed.

Any idea what was taken and if any one was hurt?

No, I don't have any other information, other than the break-ins themselves. My neighbor told me about it, and I saw the cops out on the fire escape across the way dusting for fingerprints. I think if anyone had been hurt, it would have gotten around very quickly. I don't think anyone was home at the time of the burglaries.

Good to know. Guess I'll have to close my windows again...
