Where can I buy ...

Any recommendations on where I can find a really nice cake server/knife for a wedding gift. I don't want to but it from a dept store or tiffany's and hope to find a small neighborhood shop.

Try www.uncommongoods.com. They don't have a storefront but they're located in Sunset Park so at least it's local in a way. They ship super quick - without paying any extra you'll most likely have it the next day.

A Cook's Companion on Atlantic, right off Court has really nice stuff and is a great local shop.
