New falafel stand, Union St

Yeah! The Mexican sandwich takeaway next to Maria's at 4th Ave has become a falafel stand named Mogador. Great choice for that spot, I hope they stay open late enough to get homebound subway traffic.

BTW I'm pretty sure it's unrelated to Mogador in the East Village.

I saw it too on Friday, but did not have a chance to grab a menu. Anyone see a menu?

There a bunch of meat and veg options -- kefta, shwarma, merguez ($6-$7 for meat sandwiches,) foul, organic lentil soup $3.50, and an organic vegetarian couscous for $10,
fruit smoothies $4.75
baklava and stuff like that

hopefully it is better than the atrocity that is pita hut on 9th and 5th ave. seriously i have never had such bland tasting food.
