hey everyone - i did a quick search, don't think anyone's posted about this yet...

brownstoner highlighted a new bar that's opening in july on the p.heights side of washington.

Washington Avenue in Prospect Heights continues to improve. The latest business slated to open on the strip is a bar called the Flying Monkey, which has signed a lease on a 1,500-square-foot space at 706 Washington Avenue. Target opening date: July 2009.

i live a few doors down from there, and have been waiting for someone to take advantage of this great space. here's hoping for a laid back local washington ave hang!

    The people that own Kings County in Bushwick are opening a bar in that space.
