I thought the appetizers were really good. The lobster roll was ho hum. The entrees not nearly as good as the apps. Next time, I'll sit at the bar and get apps and a drink and call it a night

ARGH! I just took a look at their website.

WTF is a restaurant in this neighborhood closed on Sundays?

My husband and I went a month or two ago and we both thought it was great. Unfortunately, they were out of lobster rolls the night we went. But whatever we got instead (can't remember anymore) was very yummy. Good, friendly service, too.

    my experience has been similar.

the best part of the meal were the appetizers,
and the fries were really very good but
the much-feted lobster roll was not very good
{especially for the price  }.
    sadness

i ain't recommending it to nobody. not worth the price.

I went again, and totally loved it. Big group, easy going staff, perfect simple fish with some fancified touches like the gooey delicious rice my scallops arrived on, and a perfect beet salad with cress and pecans and cheese. The cod sandwich rocks. THIS is the place to go for lunch during the next transit strike. . .

It is not a low budget option, but not totally beyond the pale either. The ice cream sundae is $10, and that IS crazy, but all in all it's totally reasonable ($16- $23 entrees) for good fresh fish in a pleasant easy-going environment that you can walk home from. Love it.

Anybody find something great on their wine list? I always want a Sancerre, which they mysteriously don't have.

I *heart* a good Sancerre. And was also very sad when it wasn't on their menu. But I had a good experience there in general. But yeah. Sancerre. *sigh*

same here. good appetizers, crappy entrees, and that lobster roll was really not that good.

    wouldn't go there again...
