What did you have at Canaille? I keep wanting to go but French food isn't my forte and I never know what to order.

OTB - I have to agree with you... plus you were so gentle with me.

Seriously, that is a good date trifecta. I appreciate little helpful suggestions like this one.

Now let's hope someone gets laid as a result of this wine and chocolate laden thread.

I agree with Mamacita.....french food never excites me.

I can't say I agree with this "trifecta" much. I love the Chocolate Room, but mostly as a takeout option, as it just gets way too mobbed in too cramped a space. Now get a hot cocoa, a couple of cookies, and go for a nice walk.....now you're talkin....

I've never liked Total........snobby service, and I actually have never liked what they serve. Maybe I'd choose to get a drink at Alchemy instead, myself.... :)

Drinks and dinner at Albaz, then air hockey at Brownstone Billiards (or "Ocean's" whatever).

    Perfect 1 block date.

Went for dinnner last night. First of all the place is adorable. Second of all the owner is a complete wacko with a huge sexy burgundian nose who is totally excited about the food he serves and especially the specials. We had short ribs and mussels and fries. The fries were exceptional. The short ribs and mussels were perfectly predictable and yummy. It was reasonably priced, great bottle of wine, laughed at the owner.
