Landmarking more of Bedford Stuyvesant

Save Bedford Stuyvesant blog demonstrates, the richness of the historic architecture outside the historic districts is as great as within the districts of Stuyvesant Heights and Alice/Agate Court. Now is the time for recognition of "greater Bedford Historic District and Stuyvesant Heights Historic District " and the elevation of many of the outstanding, currently undesignated, blocks between Fulton and Madison Streets in southern Bedford Stuyvesant, to official historic district status. They deserve the same protections that the 1971 Stuyvesant Heights district has enjoyed for 38 years. Hopefully soon we can start working on blocks in Northern Bedford Stuyvesant.
