What happened to LeNell's and Tini?

Subject: What happened to LeNell's and Tini?

I had heard that LeNell's was closing (I was on the mailing list) but went past there today and saw that Tini's was also closed (the place next door). There is a "For Rent" sign on LeNell's so I guess old rumors that the LL wanted the space for herself were not true.

Does anyone know what happened? I know LeNell will be back but has Tini's reopened somewhere else?

Didn't Tini move to a new spot? http://www.tiniwinebar.com/ says they need some setup time at the new place I guess...?

I don't know any of these places personally, but I just read in various places about the Tini move. Apologies if you're referencing something else.

I didn't see them at that location when we drove past last night probably because they aren't open yet. Thanks!

Sadly, LeNell's was closed down. The word from the bourbon lady herself was that rent had increased too drastically. Luckily, she's staying busy. http://destinationredhook.wordpress.com/2009/02/20/bon-voyage-to-lenell/

As for Tini, you can now find them at Home/Made, 293 Van Brunt, their once-and-still antique store that you can now eat in, too.
