Jump Smokers - My Flow So Tight (Chris Brown)

I was listening to college radio this morning and heard this song by the Jump Smokers and thought, "Are they saying what I think they're saying about Chris Brown??"

Yeah, they are! I heard it on the radio a few nights ago on the way home. Regardless of what happened, I feel like it's in poor taste. Kind of like that other song on the radio now that says something like, "shush girl, shut your lips, do the helen keller and talk with your hips."

Like, wow, really? That's the best you can do?

I'm okay with the thought behind it. After so many years of misogynistic lyrics in rap, it's a good thing that rappers now support repercussions towards a man who may have beat his girlfriend. It's unfortunate that their tack is to support more violence, though.

Having said that, I like the beat. ;-)
