Replacement Couch Cushions? Help!

Just received an email from our dog walker that Berkeley (pictured at left) chewed up "a couple" of our couch cushions today.

Can anyone recommend a good source for replacement cushions?

You'll never get an exact match but you can try IKEA or Target, they will have big pillows that can pass.

I'm sure he was framed and I would check your "walker's" alibi.

Where is the sofa from? They might be able to help you out.

Sadly, the sofa came to us via a circuitious route. Depending on the extent of the as-yet-unseen damage, I may have to get crafty.

The only real bonus will be the probably hilarious note the walker leaves (see: "When Berkeley Chewed the Laptop Cord" and "How Berkeley Got Trapped on the Wrong Side of His Baby Gate")

If you want to spend the money for an exact match there is a place on New Utricht Ave that does custom cushions and upholstery I am not sure the name but I am almost positive it is affiliated with Rubenstein & Klein furniture store.

If you just want those foam cushions that you can make your own with you can try another place on the corner of New Utricht and 47th or 48th Street where they will cut a custom piece of foam for you.

You can also try any type of large craft store that sell the foam and that white stuff that is usually wrapped around it (bunting?)

When I was a kid, my sister's gerbil escaped.
It then chewed the lamp cord, died, and clamped its teeth down.

It was discovered months later when we tried to use the lamp and it didn't work.

There's an upholstery store on Cortelyou Road. I haven't used it but it's been there for years.

This weekend, I will decide whether to just cram all the fiberfill back into the pillows and replace the zippers or to make new cushions with foam. Also: whether to donate Berkeley to the circus.

Maybe Berkeley needs a treadmill before you get new cushions
Bored spunky dog=destruction! Make the pup too tired to get into trouble.

He gets a 45 min walk in the morning (with a backpack!), plus his 30min group walk in the afternoon and another at night after work....I think his toys rolled under the couch and he attacked the cushions.

I'm buying new couches, so in 6-8 weeks, Berkeley will be more than welcome to come chew my old cushions to bits (as long as he leaves the kittehs intact)
