My Lost Cat

My cat, Commanche escaped from a window this morning on St. Johns Pl between Washington and Classon. He is all black, very friendly and sweet. He was seen this morning on the corner of Washington and St. Johns and I'm hoping others may have seen him, too. If you might have seen a black cat on or around Washington and St. Johns please send me a private message. I know that it is rare to be able to find a cat who is lost on the street, but I'm going to keep my fingers crossed.[/img]

lost pets are not hard to find. google lost pet posters. its easy to plug your info and pics into a template and post them around the block. cats to not go far. do it as soon as you can. if someone picked up your cat then they will know how to contact you. good luck

Yeah, fliers with a picture and the tear off numbers are good. Besides around your block, post the flier here and on craigslist plus you can list lots pets with Animal Care and Control.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the kind, kind words. As of yet, there has been no return. :(

Kitties can fend for themselves pretty well, so it might just take the little guy a few days to make it home with these warmer temps. And like tsarina said, lots of lost dogs and cats do make it home, it just takes a little longer for the cats sometimes for the reason above.

Wow! He was found in Mohammed's bodega on St. Johns and Washington. Lucky, lucky cat and owner. Thanks for the kind words again!

I would definitely recommend microchipping him just in case this happens again. Prospect Park Veterinary Clinic microchips for around $25.
