Brooklyn postcards

Anyone know where I can get nice (preferably black and white) postcards of brooklyn landmarks or sites?

    They tend to carry the major Brooklyn ones at tourist shops in any touristy neighborhood (near 34th st, times sq, coney island, etc.). I'm not sure of any spots right in the neighborhood, although I think there might be a card shop on 7th Ave in Park Slope that would carry that type of thing.

    An antique shop on 5th Ave in PS carries B&W posters/photos of BK landmarks, some long gone, like Ebbet's Field. I think that they have some postcards, too... I'm thinking of the shop just south of Union.

    you might try museum store at the brooklyn museum of art.

    there's also a brooklyn historical society in brooklyn hgts which is likely to have some.

    I've bought a lot of Brooklyn (Prospect Park, GAP, etc.) postcards on Ebay for pretty reasonable prices ($5-7 for an early 20th century color card) if you want to go the vintage route.

    I even scored an 8" x 10" b/w postcard of the Williamsburgh Bank in Fort Greene and an actual ceramic bank of the Williamsburgh Bank that was a give-away in the early/mid-20th century (even the Brooklyn Historical Society had never seen one of these) for under $20.

    I bought a bunch of frames at Target, and now my living room walls are a mini Brooklyn museum. Home decorating tips on the cheap via PH!

    Funny that you mention that- the antique store that I'd mentioned has a little, ceramic Williamsburgh Bank... it looks like it was a desktop pen holder- it had a little pen sheath-thing on the left side, I think...
