BLOOM ALERT: Green-Wood Cherries

OK, simple e-mail. This wacky weather has put the blooms at Green-Wood, first magnolias now cherries, in full bloom in the next week .

So take my friendly BLOOM ALERT and spend a morning, afternoon, early evening (open till 6pm till Memorial day, then 7pm) in the grounds and see some awesome blooms!

Anyone been in yet this beautiful weekend?

We were bizzy with our own garden. Will have to wait till this week..

Yes, I have been in the cemetery which is gorgeous. I just don't like that it closes, cause I love evening and early morning strolls. The trees in general around SP have been gorgeous, especially on the side streets. I wish the actual park had more trees. Our park is so bare looking, why can't it be like prospect park?

They are still looking FAB and the dogwoods have opened up. While the rain will do some damage, definitely worth the stroll the rest of this week and the weekend.
