Mosquito traps: CO2 vs. electric

Howdy all...

My neighbors and I are thinking of pooling (no pun intended) on a mosquito attractor/trap. Like many Brooklynites, we are trapped in our home's during the summer unless we want to get eaten alive by the ever present Asian Tiger Mosquito...even during the day too!

Before they envelope our yards, I thought I'd reach out to the Boards and see if anyone has had any experience with these traps...

1. CO2 canister versions vs. electric: which one is better? Pros/Cons?

2. Are their environmental concerns with the CO2 version not being "green?"

3. Do these things even work? Or will they work with the Asian Tiger Mosquito?
