we live in 11238 and frequently order from india place on vanderbilt. also, amorina told us they would deliver, although we have yet to test it. ditto the islands.

we've also gotten pizza and thai from places in pk slope, by calling and asking nicely if they'll deliver (pino's and mango, respectively).

"the original new tacos tortillas II fresca", whose food i have not tried but who have the best name ever, put a menu under my door. i believe they're mexican. or beat poets.

Gen delivers in 11238. Their menu indicates that they deliver as far east as Bedford Avenue. Can't recall the boundaries in the other directions, though.

well, India was a british colony for a long time....can't expect their food to have escaped completely unscathed....

but that $12 dinner special feeds me and my gf with leftovers for the next day. when i was writing a piece on how indian food affected/was affected by british and portuguese food, i ate a lot of their chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo.

and how can i not love a menu with descriptions like "too difficult to put into words, but recommended" or "supremes marinated in cream cheese" (someone save dianna ross!)?

(this thread is making clear to me how many of the menus on my fridge are there for linguistic reasons....)

11238 comprises a lot of Clinton Hill and parts of Fort Greene too, not just Prospect Heights, so it's hard to say who delivers to 11238 without being more specific as to where you live - bigger area than you think.
