Gee it seems kids are so expensive anyway that if you really get help from the site you would pay that $25. I did join this group anyway. The irony is I don't have young kids. I am 60, as of last week.. what a shock. But, My grandkids are park Slope kids so I still haven't gotten out of the PS Parent loop after living here all these years and raising kids here.

Great to hear about this free site. I have better things to spend my money on then to pay a salary a former marketing executive (go get a job for god's sakes!). I personally just want access to a list serve...which is written by community members and not the moderators. I could care a less about "events" and overcrowded concerts and easter egg hunts where if you forget an egg, you are turned away.

Hope the new group is a success. I will donate my $25 to one of the many charities really hurting with the bad economy
