Lincoln Deli!!!

It's official. The sign is up. "Lincoln Deli". Corner of Lincoln and Classon.

I know, its right around the corner, and I'm actually quite excited! The awning says "free delivery" which maybe means more real food/less bodega.

I also noticed last night that the renovation on the big building at the corner of Classon and Eastern is coming along very well - lights were on, so I saw lots of fresh paint, and they'd installed a real door to replace the old padlocked one. Seeing positive changes like this so close to my house makes me really happy

I'm interested to see how the renovation of the large building pans out. I wonder if it'll be rentals or if the building is going co-op. Also, it'd be nice to see some of the street-level storefronts occupied by things like bars and cafes. Being that close to E. Pkwy and given the postings on this board hoping for those types of businesses, they'd surely do well.

Time will tell, I guess.
