***thread title edited to correct name of store thanks to posters below***

I think that's the name of it.

Just saw it while passing by in a car this evening.

From the brief glimpse I had in passing it's tiny but it looked like a fun new urban apparel kinda place.

Nice graffiti-inspired sign out front. Wish I had a camera handy. Post 'em if ya got 'em.

Anyhoo, to the owners: Welcome and good luck!

Anyone been in yet?

Are you talking about vinnie's styles? http://www.vinniesstyles.com/
That place has been there for a long while. They are kind of a big deal. Made their name selling "Brooklyn" shirts in a distinctive font. Not my style but that place is always crowded with fashion forward hip-hoppers.

    Ah yes, that's the one.

Ya know, as many times as I have passed that odd-angled corner all I've noticed is the discount furniture place.

Hadn't noticed this until tonight for some reason.

New sign out front or something, then?

Are you talking about "Vinnie's Styles"? if so, its actually been there for quite awhile. Owned by 3 brothers who inherited the place from their grandfather who sold clothes there many decades ago ( clothes not so hippin and a hoppin.) They are high priced, (tshirts 1 color 35 and above) I saw some jeans from Japan in there once for 500$.. anyhoo, if I am wrong, sorry for wasting time.. if not..

Yeah, for some reason I only just noticed it tonight. D'oh.

Definitely looks like they really have their act together, though (the window display, what was visible of the inside of the shop, the original designs featured etc....great overall vibe)

Nice to see more original designs, not just mass-produced, soulless carp.

Made me think of About Time on Franklin Ave.
